A look inside the first CSC Annual General Meeting
By csc |On Monday 17 June 2019, the Cloud Signature Consortium (CSC) held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Sophia Antipolis, in the South of France. We were delighted to have 19 members in attendance, some even coming from India and Saudi Arabia for this special occasion and meet their fellow members.
CSC President, Andrea Valle (Adobe), opened the meeting by welcoming all 30 participants and offering them the opportunity to present their company and explain their reason for joining the Consortium.
After this introduction, the members approved some amendments to the CSC Articles of Association to facilitate the daily management of the association. They also agreed unanimously to extend the mandate of the original Board of Directors until the next AGM in 2020 and to formally confirm the appointment of two new Directors until 2021. The Board is now composed of the following Directors:
- Andrea Valle (Adobe), President
- Carmine Auletta (InfoCert), Treasurer
- Kim Nguyen (D-Trust), Secretary
- Julien Stern (Universign), Director
- François Chassery (Certinomis), Director
- Paolo Ardemagni (Intesi Group), Director
Afterwards, participants were invited to attend either a Special General Meeting or a Technical Track Session. While the first meeting focused on the different activities of the Consortium, the second meeting covered the work of the Technical Working Group. The Special General Meeting was the opportunity for members to get an overview of the strategy of the Consortium and learn more about CSC technical specifications, membership, advocacy and education activities. Members had the opportunity to discuss each topic and share their own experience and projects.
The Cloud Signature Consortium thanks all attendees for their participation and making this first Annual General Meeting a successful one. We hope that even more members will join us at the next AGM in 2020!
